My name is Jeff Harns and I will be your child’s Fourth grade teacher this year. I am looking forward to my last year of teaching to be an exciting and productive year with your child.
I have been teaching at Potterville Public Schools for over 25 years. I have 20+ years of experience teaching Fourth grade. I graduated from Spring Arbor University with a degree in Elementary Education. Over the years, I have taken many hours of professional development in order to be prepared to meet each child’s needs.
I love teaching fourth grade. My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning, and to help each child develop a strong belief in his or her own ability. I want them to do their best and to have a sense of pride in doing their personal best. It is also of primary importance to me that my students appreciate and respect other peoples’ differences.
I enjoy reading, cooking, and football. I love animals and have a doberman pincher named Rocky.
I am a father of two children, James and Jasmine.
Together we can make this year the best year possible for your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or e-mail.
